The current AEW Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks, have referenced Jim Ross’ “WWE Dynamite” botch from Wednesday night’s show.
During this week’s show, Jim Ross accidentally called the episode ‘WWE Dynamite’. Matt and Nick Jackson took to Twitter to poke fun at Ross’ mistake.
The Young Bucks changed their bio to taunt Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero M. Referencing Ross’ botch, the bio reads:
“Eddie & Penta, let’s see if you can beat us next week when it counts, on WWE Dynamite.”
On Dynamite, Kingston and Penta El Zero M defeated The Young Bucks in a tag team eliminator match.
While Matt and Nick Jackson’s gold wasn’t on the line, Kingston and Penta El Zero M earned a future AEW Tag Team Championship match. They will challenge for the title during next week’s AEW Road Rager special.
Following last week’s episode of Dynamite Eddie Kingston took to the ring to cut a promo on “the competition”. Kingston has since responded to his critics who took issue with his anti-WWE promo.
