Despite his historic return to the ring earlier this year following two years out with injury, many WWE fans were worried Bryan’s latest spell in the WWE would be a short one.
There has been much speculation over whether Bryan would be signing a new contract with WWE, or heading elsewhere to wrestle.
His current deal runs out in September 2018, which is why the latest advert for a WWE show is giving fans cause to celebrate.
WWE is holding its ‘WWE Super Show-Down‘ in Australia on October 6, and one Daniel Bryan is advertised to perform.
Of course this could just be long-term planning, but the company does have a history of omitting names from cards if they aren’t expected to perform.
For example, a name that hasn’t been advertised for the show is Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, who is widely expected to drop his title at SummerSlam before returning to the UFC octagon.
If we choose to believe that the booking is set in stone, then I can imagine a lot of fans will be thrilled to see Bryan staying on, and even more happy that Brock is finally leaving.
Do you think Bryan will extend his contract with WWE? If not, where should he go instead? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter.
