WWE have today announced the second match for their Super Show-Down event in Australia on October 6. Joining the Undertaker vs. Triple H, will be John Cena vs. Kevin Owens.

The only uncertainty is whether this will be for the WWE Universal Championship which the ‘Prizefighter’ still stands a chance of leaving SummerSlam with. First though, he’ll have to go through Braun Strowman to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase on August 19.
Also advertised to battle Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell on September 16, should Kevin Owens be the man standing atop Raw’s mountain, one truly hopes that WWE don’t make him a transitional champion just to transfer the title to John Cena. They wouldn’t … would they?
WWE Super Show-Down will be the first time the company returns to the country for a major show since their Global Warning Tour in 2002. On that occasion, the Rock vs. Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar headlined the evening. The extravaganza will take place on October 6 at the Melbourne Cricket Grounds and will be shown live on the WWE Network.
WrestleTalk are keen to hear your views on the announced bout, whether you think Kevin Owens will be WWE Universal Champion on the evening in question, or if this is just cannon fodder for a returning John Cena to feast on. You can chat to all your favorite writers on Twitter and Discord today.
