The ‘Lunatic Fringe’ Dean Ambrose returned to Raw last night in both an on-screen and in-ring capacity. Following the culmination of Monday’s episode, the former WWE Champion competed in an 8-Man Tag Team Dark Match.
Teaming with Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Braun Strowman, Dean managed to overcome the team of Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, and Constable Baron Corbin. The finish occurred when the returning star nailed Corbin with dirty deeds for the victory.
Sporting a new look that made him look like a complete heel, Dean Ambrose’s return came just in time for SummerSlam where it was revealed that he would be in Seth Rollins’ corner during the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match with Dolph Ziggler. One cannot help but wonder, however, where his loyalties really lay.
Mr. Renee Young has been out of action since December 2017 with a torn tricep.
WrestleTalk would like to hear your views on Dean’s return. Has he been rushed back into action too soon? Are you glad he’s fit enough to compete in an actual match? Or maybe you didn’t miss him at all? Coe and share your views with WrestleTalk on Twitter and Discord today.
