According to PWInsider, former WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool will return to the ring at WWE Evolution on October 28 in Long Island.
Just like the Trish Stratus vs. Alexa Bliss match, a graphic was shown of McCool’s appearance before NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV. At the moment, there’s no word on who McCool will be facing.
McCool retired after she lost a Loser Leaves WWE Match against her former Lay-Cool partner, Layla at Extreme Rules 2011.
She returned to WWE television in January 2018 for the 25th Anniversary of RAW and competed in first Women’s Royal Rumble Match
Thus far, the only bout made official for WWE Evolution is Trish Stratus vs. Alexa Bliss, though Toni Storm vs. Io Shirai in the Final of the Mae Young Classic will also take place. Other names being advertised are WWE Hall of Famers Lita and Beth Phoenix, Carmella, Asuka, Nia Jax, Ember Moon, Natalya, RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Naomi, Shayna Baszler, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and NXT Women’s Champion Kairi Sane. Every women’s title will be defended on the show.
