As part of its weekly Hidden Gems collection, the WWE Network has released a never-before-seen Renee Young audition tape from 2012.
In the tape, the new Raw commentator is given a random prop by the crew and given 40 seconds to look at it before attempting to sell it on camera.
Demonstrating her ability to think on her feet, Young claims it to be a pet groomer and does a fine job of convincing the viewer of that.
It was no doubt good practice for some of the nonsensical storylines she has had to sell over the years.
Cutting promos on inanimate objects is a method WWE have used on newcomers for years. Once over they used to send would-be future stars into a room during their tryouts and make them cut promos on furniture and random objects. Usually, Vince McMahon would be in the room watching the whole thing, along with several members of the main roster.
Yes, it sounds like hell.
Also included in the update is a match between Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes from FCW and a three-way from OVW between Beth Phoenix, ODB and Katie Lea.
