The ratings have come in for Raw and there is more bad news for WWE.
Last night’s show is down from last week’s record low, pulling a terrible 2.29 million.
The show opened with an already-poor 2.50 million in the first hour and fell every hour after that. Hour two did 2.33 million and hour three, which featured the heavily hyped return of Shawn Michaels, did 2.08 million.
The third hour number means it was the least watched hour of Raw in over 20 years, since the days of the Monday Night Wars.
WWE had competition from a Kansas City Cheifs vs. Denver Broncos Monday Night Football game, which pulled 13.21 million viewers. The game would have had a big effect on the Raw number as the biggest demos for both are over 50s.
Although unlikely, it is not impossible that SmackDown could defeat Raw in the ratings for the first time in over a year.
