Last year’s NXT Takeover: WarGames event featured one of the most action packed and physical matches of the year with the titular triple threat match featuring The Undisputed ERA, SAnitY and the Authors of Pain & Roderick Strong.
With the event being confirmed again for November, fans were wondering who would feature in this year’s War Games match. Well, you can wonder no more as the competitors have been confirmed at the recent NXT tapings.
Beware massive SPOILERS AHEAD.
Next month’s show will see The Undisputed Era going up against the team of War Raiders, Ricochet and Pete Dunne.
This means that there will no longer be three teams going up against each other inside the cage, but rather a more traditional two teams of four.
This also means that the long-injured Bobby Fish will be featured in the match.
Given the current story being told on NXT, this match makes complete sense as Ricochet and Pete Dunne share a common hatred of the Undisputed Era along with the War Raiders, so uniting against Adam Cole’s faction seems the logical next step.
With Ricochet involved, don’t be surprised if he delivers the most memorable moment of Survivor Series weekend with some form of death defying leap from the cage, because we know he loves to steal the show.
