A side effect of the New Era of WWE was that we said a very unceremonious farewell to the one decent on-screen authority figure WWE has had in the last few years, Paige.
Although still employed by the company, we haven’t seen her since she was dumped from her role of SmackDown Live general manager, and honestly, I’ve missed her.
Speaking to Sky Sports during the Royal Rumble Axxess event, Paige discussed possibilities for her future within WWE, and admitted that shes keen on becoming a manager.
“I wanna be a manager for somebody. I don’t know who, but I’d like to do something like that. If that’s not the case, then I don’t know. I just want to be a part of the company – I love this company. They’re like my family.”
“Either or [men’s or women’s division] and I’d be happy. I just like to talk a lot. I don’t know if I’m any good at it, but I’d give it a good old fashioned try. I loved being general manager, but WWE evolves all the time. I’m happy with the time I had, I had fun.”
Perhaps she could return to be the manager of her babygirls Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, but hopefully it’l be a much more exciting pairing if she does become a manager. Mojo Rawley, anyone?
