We’ve reported throughout this week that Seth Rollins has been struggling with a back injury that has kept him out of a number of house shows and this week’s episode of Raw.
The severity of the back injury, and its cause are unknown, but the fact that it’s kept Seth out for two weeks would suggest there is a level of concern.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer mentioned that there are no current concerns that Seth will miss WrestleMania, which could suggest that WWE is simply being cautious and want to make sure he’s 100% fit before allowing him to return.
“Seth Rollins dealing with a back injury that happened before the Lesnar angle last Monday, and is okay, but will be resting up some for the next several weeks. WrestleMania isn’t threatened we’re told.”
Although he is “okay”, fans of Rollins will have to wait at least another week or two before seeing him in action, as he’s also not expected to appear at next week’s episode of Raw.
His WrestleMania opponent Brock Lesnar has also had a change to his schedule, which you can read about here.
Seth Rollins will almost certainly not wrestle until the back injury is completely healed, as WWE are unlikely to risk any further damage ahead of their biggest show of the year.
