Ronda Rousey required stitches in her elbow after being attacked by Becky Lynch with a crutch at this past Sunday’s WWE Elimination Chamber show.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there was an agreement between Rousey and Lynch that the ‘Man’ was to hit the Raw Women’s Champion “as hard as she could”, and that’s exactly what she did.
On top of Rousey’s elbow needing stitches, the side of her head was also bleeding after a shot. This didn’t require stitches though, and Rousey was checked for a concussion but was fine.
Lynch is currently serving a storyline suspension that ends five days after WrestleMania, with the currently promoted Raw Women’s Championship match at ‘Mania being Rousey defending against Charlotte Flair.Flair was also left with visible bruising on her arm after the attack.
It is widely expected Lynch will find a way into the ‘Mania match to make it a three-way, and if she doesn’t, I wouldn’t be surprised if Twitter was to literally explode.
