Cody Rhodes will be appearing at AAA’s event Rey de Reyes. Cody and AAA announced in a video via Twitter that regardless of his injury, Cody will appear at the event on March 16th.
It will almost certainly not be in a physical role, however it will more likely involve All Elite Wrestling’s partnership with AAA. Whether it will simply be an appearance or an announcement, Cody’s presence at Rey de Reyes is one of the first examples of the two promotions’ partnership.

The partnership was announced at the Double or Nothing ticket sale event earlier this month. At the event, AAA Cruiserweight Champion Sammy Guevara made an appearance. He announced that he will compete for AEW at Double or Nothing and promised to steal the show.
AAA is the second promotion the officially partner with All Elite Wrestling. The first being the Chinese wrestling promotion Oriental Wrestling Entertainment. Stars from both AAA and OWE will be appearing at Double or Nothing on May 25th.
