It was reported last week that several trademarks had been filed involving AEW personnel, with Cody attempting to trademark his father’s ‘American Dream’ nickname alongside his own indy moniker ‘American Nightmare’.
It was also revealed that Martin ‘Arn Anderson’ Lunde had applied for the trademark of his Arn Anderson name and that Conrad Thompson was attempting to gain the rights to ‘The Four Horsemen’.

According to PWInsider, Cody filed for another three trademarks on March 18, all of which were old NWA/WCW pay-per-views. The three show names in question are Battlebowl, Bash At The Beach and Bunkhouse Stampede. The latter of those was made famous by Cody’s father Dusty Rhodes.
According to the filing report, all three have been listed under the following description:
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of a wrestling club; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network Intent to Use: The applicant has a bona fide intention, and is entitled, to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods/services.
In addition, Cody has also filed for the trademark ‘Prince Of Wrestling’, which may well be another nickname he wishes to use.
Assuming these are not challenged by WWE (and we assume they will be), could we be seeing AEW Bash At The Beach, AEW Bunkhouse Stampede and AEW Battlebowl in 2019 or 2020? We think that would be very cool indeed.
