Top WWE Star Set To Undergo Gimmick Change?

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, nine-time tag team champion Matt Hardy has been pushing for another gimmick change to WWE officials. Matt revealed part of the new gimmick on his YouTube channel.

In the video, Matt reveals that the new ”Multifarious” Matt Hardy would see the former ECW World Champion playing some of the many gimmicks he has had in his time with the company, including Matt Hardy V1, Woken Matt Hardy and Big Money Matt, the latter of which he re-introduced in his YouTube video.

It is unclear if WWE will allow Hardy to change gimmicks once again. Matt is now once again teaming with brother Jeff Hardy as the Hardy Boyz on Smackdown, and the pair have been teasing a WrestleMania feud with tag team champions The Usos. Jeff’s future remains ambiguous if Matt is to change character.

However, what is clear is that Matt is one of the best in the business at reinventing his persona and evolving, as seen no more clearly than through his Broken Matt Hardy character. Matt is a creative genius and new character could breathe new life into his already Hall of Fame-worthy career.
