Some good news regarding the Ric Flair situation. It had been reported by TMZ that the 16-time world champion had been rushed to hospital in a serious condition, but the most recent reports suggest otherwise.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that following a conference call with Conrad Thompson, one of the organisers of Starrcast, the seriousness of Flair’s condition has been blown way out of proportion.
Conrad Thompson says the Ric Flair situation “is not as grave or serious” as TMZ makes it out, and says that this was a planned procedure that Ric Flair wanted to have before Las Vegas.

He stated that Flair and the family knew the procedure was coming and he could have had it before or after Vegas, and wanted to feel good for Starrcast

While it isn’t clear why he has gone to hospital, if Conrad is to be believed then we can rest a bit easier.
Get well soon, Ric!
