Controversial WWE star Lars Sullivan will wrestle his first main roster match at Saudi Arabia show Super Showdown.
Sullivan will take on the Lucha House Party in a 3-on-1 handicap match following several weeks of feuding between them.
The former NXT man was called up from the developmental league in January but went AWOL when he was scheduled for a segment with John Cena on Raw that was supposed to lead to a WrestleMania match between them.
Lars was not seen on television until the night after WrestleMania when he made his debut by attacking Kurt Angle on Raw.
Sullivan has since been given the Brock Lesnar circa 2002 push, booked to destroy everyone in his path and no-selling any offensive moves directed at him.
Recently Sullivan’s WWE future was called into question when reports surfaced about his past.
Sullivan was taken to task over a stream of racist, homophobic and generally unpleasant posts that he had made on a message board prior to joining WWE.
Several active WWE roster members spoke out publicly about Sullivan when the reports emerged, including New Day’s Big E and Lucha House Party member Kalisto.
Kalisto took matters into his own hands at Money in the Bank, intentionally potatoing Sullivan during a segment on the show and busting him open.
Sullivan has since been levelled with a $100,000 fine by WWE as a way to appease concerned sponsors, following a fan backlash against him.
Earlier today Sullivan deleted his Twitter account, perhaps in anticipation of the negative response to the announcement of his first main roster bout.
