Sami Zayn is gearing up for another fundraising campaign in the hope of benefiting medical relief efforts in Syria, and it starts at the same time as tomorrow’s Super ShowDown show in Saudi Arabia.
Zayn will not be travelling with WWE to Saudi Arabia due to his Syrian heritage, because there are long-standing tensions between the two nations.
Intensified attacks in NW Syria are targeting civilians & medical facilities.
I will once again be partnering with @sams_usa to launch a mobile clinic in Syria to bring medical aid to those in desperate need.
Our fundraiser will be launched Friday, June 7, 2pm EDT.

As you can see, the fundraiser will be launched at 2pm ET, which just happens to be the exact time Super ShowDown starts. I’m sure it’s a coincidence.
Either way, you have to say it’s an infinitely more admirable thing to be doing than hosting a wrestling show in a country which gives women very few rights and still performs public executions.
