As usual this job continues to find ways to surprise me. I didn’t wake up this morning thinking I’d be writing about John Cena and his (shoulder) tackle, but here we are.
On an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the 16-time WWE Champion admitted that he sometimes suffered an accidental boner during matches.
“It’s something the body does, you just ignore it,” Cena said. “Just ignore it. It’s what the body does. You can’t be blamed for that.”
Annoyingly, Cena didn’t specify which matches these unfortunate incidents occurred in, but thankfully he’s always got the five knuckle shuffle to get him out of an awkward spot.
This really does bring new meaning to the phrase “taking a stiff bump”, something John apparently took many of during his illustrious career.
While it now looks like John is heading towards the end of his time in the ring, we’ll always remember him as a hard worker, even while in gorilla position.
What did you think of John Cena’s boner? Let us know in the comments.
