It was reported over the weekend that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson had both decided to renew their WWE contracts. The pair reportedly penned new five-year deals with the company.
Since then, PWInsider‘s Mike Johnson has reported that the Good Brothers seemed intent on leaving after rejecting WWE’s initial offer. However, the tandem were persuaded by the promise of a new push and new “ridiculously amazing” offers.
It was believed that the deals WWE initially offered Gallows and Anderson were worth $500,000. Therefore, one can assume that the aforementioned “ridiculously amazing” offers that the pair ended up accepting are worth considerably more than that.
The push for the former Raw Tag Team Champions might have already been started. Last week on Raw, the duo reunited with AJ Styles as The Club and the trio turned heel on United States Champion Ricochet.
Mike Johnson’s report suggests that New Japan Pro Wrestling were interested in bringing back the dominant tag team once their WWE deals expired. It was also noted that All Elite Wrestling were considering going in for Gallows and Anderson.
