Former WWE stars Damien Sandow and Santino Marella both came out of retirement for a Battle Arts Pro Wrestling show in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada this past week.
Marella, who was released by WWE in 2014, took on Randy Bynoe in a “Pancrase-style match”, picking up the victory which he dedicated to his brother who passed away last year.
“I dedicated this match to my brother Pasquale that passed away 10 months ago, he never missed a show.”
Marella is advertised for Monday’s Raw Reunion show alongside a multitude of former stars and legends.
Damien Sandow, now going under the ring-name “The Dao” Aron Stevens, also made his wrestling comeback after a few years out working on an acting career. Hedefeated Timothy O’Connor in his return match at Battle Arts.
Both men took to social media to share their delight in returning to the ring.
