Last night on Raw, Sami Zayn was defeated by Cedric Alexander in a first-round match for the King of the Ring tournament. Alexander will now face the winner of next week’s Baron Corbin vs. The Miz match in the Quater-Finals.
The match was pretty one-sided, with Cedric pinning Zayn after a rather dominant display. However, all eyes were certainly on Sami Zayn after the bout.
In a video released on WWE’s YouTube channel, Sami Zayn can be seen going “beserk” after his defeat at the hands of Cedric in the King of the Ring tournament.
Sami even swears at a fan who is loudly booing him. The swears have obviously been bleeped out by WWE.
The former NXT Champion took to Twitter to respond to the video. He labelled himself as “one of the best pro wrestlers on earth”, before stating how it was sad to see where he is now.
I am one of the best pro wrestlers on earth and I have been reduced to this. This is where I'm at now.
Enough is enough, and it's time for a change.— Sami Zayn (@SamiZayn) August 20, 2019
He concluded his post by saying “enough is enough, and it’s time for a change”. Some have speculated that this is leading to Sami changing up his gimmick.
