Yesterday (August 20) WWE officially announced that as of Wednesday, September 18 NXT would be airing as a live show on the USA Network for 2 hours between 8pm and 10pm ET.
It was announced shortly after that for fans unable to access the USA Network, NXT will still be on the WWE Network, just a day later than usual.
The big question for UK fans however was whether or not there would be a (legal) way of watching NXT live at the same time as American fans.
Well, according to Alex McCarthy of TalkSport, the answer at the moment is no.
NXT airing in the UK update:
I spoke to people from both Sky Sports and BT Sport today and neither are picking NXT up right now.
There’s speculation it could go to terrestrial TV (of course AEW will be on ITV4) as a direct competitor.
Will air 24 hours after US, regardless.

WWE has an exclusive deal with Sky Sports in the UK, but this deal runs out in January when Raw and SmackDown Live will move to BT Sport.
If what McCarthy says is true, perhaps a terrestrial channel will pick it up in order to go head to head with AEW even more than first thought.
