Apart from holding two shows a year in Saudi Arabia, WWE holds all of their pay-per-view events from instead the US.
However, that could reportedly be about to change.
Recently, a WWE Live Event in Colombia sold out. This is something that is hardly ever the case in the US, or even other countries WWE decides to visit.
WWE was so impressed with the crowd that, according to latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company is considering holding a pay-per-view in the South American country:
“A lot of the talent was talking about how amazing the crowd was. There were even talk of a television show taped there or a PPV, or doing multiple shows next year, but for not the only thing certain is one show next year.”
According to reports, several members of the WWE roster very much enjoyed working in front of a crowd who were interested in the wrestling, something that is sometimes missing from shows in the US.
