Last night at AEW All Out, Chris Jericho defeated Hangman Adam Page in the main event to become the inaugural AEW World Champion.
The match was certainly impressive, and Chris Jericho will go down as the first and currently only man to win championships in WWE, WCW and AEW.
However, that is not the only piece of history that was made during the main event last night.
The match was refereed by Aubrey Edwards. Edwards will go down in history as the first woman to referee a main event pay-per-view match.

Along with this, AEW were applauded for having Nyla Rose, a transgender wrestler, win the 21-woman Casino Battle Royale. She will face Riho for the AEW Women’s Championship on October 2nd.
