Former Raw commentator Renee Young is set to become the leading host of WWE’s new studio show on FS1, WWE Backstage.
In a recent interview with Screen Greek, her real-life husband and current AEW star Jon Moxley discussed whether Young could join him in The Elite’s new promotion.
On the topic of his wife joining him in AEW, Moxley had the following to say:
She’s got A LOT of stuff on her plate. Alot of things she wants to do. I mean, you’d have to ask her what all her goals and aspirations are, but she has a lot of them outside the wrestling business. Right now she’s just like, right now over there she’s completely invaluable. She has a lot of great opportunities with Fox, which is great for her, and her future is in her hands, she can do whatever she wants. It’s good to be her right now. A lot on her plate right now, a lot on her plate. It’s very cool, you know?
It is interesting for Moxley to note that while Young is enjoying what she is doing at the moment with WWE and FOX, her main goals lie outside of the wrestling business.
During the interview, Moxley also discussed whether or not he should have left WWE when he had the chance back in 2015.
