It was reported yesterday that there was concern over the health of WWE star Roman Reigns after he appeared to injure himself during a steel cage match during WWE’s tour of Australia.
It was thought at the time that if it was an injury, it was nothing serious, and it seems as though that is the case.
Reigns took on Erick Rowan in a street fight at a show in Brisbane today, so it’s safe to say that he has recovered from any slight injury he may have suffered.
The same cannot be said for Xavier Woods, who suffered a serious Achilles tendon injury at the same show and has been pulled from the tour.
Wrestling Observer Radio reports that it is believed to be a torn Achilles tendon, which can take around 6 months to heal in the most serious cases.
It’s very good to hear that Roman is fit and well, but once again we will pass on our best wishes to Xavier Woods in his recovery.
