Earlier this week at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, The Fiend Bray Wyatt finally defeated Seth Rollins in a Falls Count Anywhere match to capture the Universal Championship.
Seeing Wyatt hold the universal Championship to close out the show came as a relief to many, with fans and critics both predicting that WWE would have Rollins pick up the win over The Fiend again.
Taking to Twitter, former NXT and Universal Champion Kevin Owens has seemingly challenged “that masked dude”, also known as Bray Wyatt, to a match for the red strap.

However, Brock Lesnar quit Smackdown on last night’s episode. Paul Heyman revealed that Lesnar will be on Raw this week to call out Rey Mysterio.
It certainly seems as if Bray Wyatt will be staying on Smackdown with the Universal Championship, while Brock Lesnar will take the WWE Championship to Raw to feud with Rey Mysterio.
This certainly makes it seem as if Raw’s Kevin Owens won’t be challenging Smackdown’s The Fiend Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship anytime soon.
