A few members of the AEW roster were left rather sore after Full Gear last night, so here’s an update on some of their conditions.
Joey Janela suffered a spike piledriver on the outside during his match against Shawn Spears, and stayed down in the ring after the match was over.
Tony Khan said in his post-show scrum that Janela is “totally okay” and thinks he’ll be at Dynamite on Wednesday after medical personnel and Janela’s close friend Jungle Boy helped him post-match.
Cody suffered a nasty cut above his eye from a dive onto the ramp during his World Championship match against Chris Jericho. PWInsider reports that Dr. Michael Sampson could have called the match off, but after examining the wound declared that Cody could continue.
That report adds there are “no serious injuries” coming out of the show, and although Adam Page suffered a stinger in his match against PAC, he should be good for Dynamite too.
