Over the last week, it has been reported that Kairi Sane could leave WWE after Takaaki Kidani recently revealed that he wants to bring Sane and Io Shirai to STARDOM once their deals with WWE expire.
Despite this, it seems like WWE will definitely be retaining the services of another former NXT star for at least a few more years.
Squared Circle Sirens is reporting that WWE has reached a deal with former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Nikki Cross to remain at the promotion for the foreseeable future.
Cross signed a three-year deal with WWE in 2016, so her contract was expected to be running out in a matter of months.
There is no word on how long WWE has signed Cross for, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest developments on this story.
This comes after it was revealed on WWE Backstage last week that both The Miz and Paige had decided to extend their stay with Vince McMahon’s company after both signing massive new deals.
