While only three matches have been announced for this week’s TLC pay-per-view, many others have been rumoured to take place.
Along with The Viking Raiders vs. The O.C for the Raw Tag Team Championships, it was reported last week that the planned Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy match would likely not be changed.
Now Dave Meltzer is reporting on the Wrestling Observer Radio that Buddy Murphy is actually slated to go up against fellow former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander.
“Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy are planned for a singles match and Viking Raider vs Gallows and Anderson for the tag team titles.”
The other matches likely taking place, according to Meltzer, are Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles and Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins:
“Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens is a probable, but not a for sure. We’ve got AJ Styles vs Randy Orton — now AJ’s wrestling Rey Mysterio for the US Title so he may get the title back, I don’t know that’s the case Randy may cost him the match and he loses again, but AJ and Randy is the direction as of right now.”
WrestleTalk.com will have live coverage of Monday Night Raw tonight, where many of these matches for Sunday’s show might be booked.
