Last night on Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins fully turned heel after aligning himself with The AOP. The trio attacked Kevin Owens backstage during the show.
However, it has been reported that Seth Rollins was actually supposed to have a match on last night’s show, but plans had to change when it was clear that Seth would be unable to compete.
Dave Meltzer noted on the Wrestling Observer Radio that the original plans for the show had Rollins taking on Cedric Alexander. However, Rollins suffered a broken finger last week and, as such, was unable to wrestle.
Seth suffered a broken finger during a Street Fight against Erick Rowan on Sunday at a house show in Georgia.
It is unclear whether the injury will prevent Rollins from facing Kevin Owens at TLC this Sunday. The match has reportedly been planned for a number of weeks, but was not made official on last night’s show.
