AEW has taken to Twitter to announce the first participant for the Casino Ladder Match at May 23’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
The first participant is none other than the currently #5 ranked Darby Allin.
The winner of the ladder match will earn a future AEW World Championship match in the same vein as the Casino Battle Royale from the first Double Or Nothing, which was won by Adam Page.
It has not yet been announced exactly how many participants there’ll be in the match, or whether there’ll be any extra rules and/or stipulations to match the “Casino” name.
Here’s the card for the event so far:
-
AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Jon Moxley (c) vs. Brodie Lee
-
TNT CHAMPIONSHIP
Cody vs. Lance Archer
-
SINGLES MATCH
Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs. Jungle Boy
-
CASINO LADDER MATCH FOR AN AEW WORLD TITLE SHOT
