The ‘Monday Night Messiah’ Seth Rollins appears to have made a new addition to his following on the 18 May episode of WWE Raw.
His disciple Murphy was in the midst of a match with Aleister Black, but Austin Theory was laying at ringside off the back of an assault by Andrade and Angel Garza, after he cost them a tag team match to Apollo Crews and Kevin Owens.
Rollins was also at ringside in Murphy’s corner, but spotted Theory and walked over to him. He pulled him to his feet, stared at him, then directed him into the ring to attack Black.
The three then assaulted Black, and Rollins hugged Theory, seemingly welcoming him into his group.
AOP, who were also part of the group, haven’t been on TV for a number of weeks. Rezar tore his bicep so he’ll be out of action for a number of months, and WWE clearly doesn’t want to use Akam without him for some reason.
Many thought that the recent disputes between Theory and Zelina Vega’s clients were leading to him returning back to NXT, but it seems WWE has decided on this option instead.
