On July 1 and July 8, AEW is going to be putting on a two-night Fyter Fest show that is going to feature some rather exciting matches, including Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage for the AEW World Championship.
To counter-program the shows, WWE decided to put on a Great American Bash two-nighter for NXT. Over the last few days, a few mouth-watering have been announced, including Io Shirai vs. a SmackDown star.
Another of the match that has been announced is a four-way match between Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Tegan Knox and Mia Yim. The winner will earn a shot at NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai for a later date.
WWE has since announced that the match this week will be a four-way elimination match. Previously, the match was just going to be a traditional four-way.
