A few WWE stars have been absent from TV tapings due to issues regarding COVID-19, and one of those returned at the last set of tapings.
As noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Riddick Moss was back at tapings and defeated Humberto Carrillo in a match for Main Event.
Moss was last on Raw this past March, and has singles wins over both Ricochet and Cedric Alexander under his belt.
He was first brought up as backup for then-24/7 Champion Mojo Rawley, but soon betrayed Rawley and won the title for himself, reigning for over a month before losing it to R-Truth in his last act before being away from TV.
Moss’ name was included on a list released by Meltzer recently of people who have been off TV for pandemic-related reasons, but the exact reason hasn’t been mentioned.
It’ll be interesting to see how Moss is used now that Paul Heyman isn’t the executive director of Raw and he was the mind behind pushing a number of young talents over established stars.
