Popular Star Reportedly Returning To WWE TV This Week

Mustafa Ali last wrestled for WWE in a dark match before the 02/07 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he defeated former Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak in singles competition.

You have to go even further back to find Ali’s last televised match for the company, which took place on the 12/13 episode of SmackDown last year, where he teamed with Shorty G in a losing effort to The Revival.

It was originally believed that Ali was being kept off of TV for an important SmackDown storyline, where he’d be eventually revealed as the mystery hacker that uncovered the truth behind the Otis, Dolph Ziggler and Mandy Rose love triangle.

It seems like that has been dropped, as reports suggest that Mustafa Ali has been quietly moved over from SmackDown to Monday Night Raw. There is no word on why this change was made.

Well it appears like we may be seeing Mustafa Ali back on our screens soon, as Ringside News is reporting that the former 205 Live star will be at the Performance Center for tapings this week.

Ringside News has learned that Mustafa Ali is scheduled to be back at WWE’s television tapings tomorrow. It wasn’t noted which episode he will appear on as the company generally tapes multiple weeks at a time.
