One of the people released in April 2020 by WWE was former NXT star EC3. Just a few weeks ago, WrestleTalk’s Louis Dangoor had the pleasure of interviewing the former 24/7 Champion.
During the interview, EC3 recalled a funny story about Vince McMahon watching Impact, spoke about his time with WWE and working with Jon Moxley, revealed his plans for the future and more.

During the interview, EC3 also opened up about how he was actually planning on asking for his release from the company before the Coronavirus pandemic.
Another interesting thing to come out of the interview was EC3’s desire to have spent some more time down in NXT. He only spent a few months with the black and gold brand after his debut.
EC3 told us that he does wish he spent more time with NXT during his second stint with WWE. Here’s exactly what the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion had to say:
“Yeah. Okay, EC3 doesn’t live in regrets and the past, now I guess he talks in third person. But like, regrets, a lot of this character that’s true to me is destroying the past, your past and not other peoples’ pasts. Like, you’re forgetting about what doesn’t matter once you realise the past is a story, it has no power over you.”
