The real reason that Brock Lesnar has been absent from WWE TV recently, including the SummerSlam pay-per-view has been revealed.
Many expected Lesnar would have played a role at SummerSlam considering WWE positions it as the second-biggest event of the year, but there’s a very good explanation as to why he wasn’t.
As explained by Sportskeeda, Lesnar is currently living in Canada, meaning travel into the United States is not allowed due to the COVID-19 pandemic:
“He lives in Canada, so there’s no travelling allowed. I know people see that and they go ‘Brock Lesnar should be here’. No, he’s living in Canada. He has dual citizenship. You can’t cross the border right now. So that’s why he’s not on TV.”
Lesnar isn’t the only WWE star who is stuck in Canada, with Robert Roode being another notable example, as well as a few others.
We’ve not seen Lesnar in WWE since he lost the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania in April.
