This is the second week in a row that All Elite Wrestling has aired on a night other than Wednesday. Last week AEW Dynamite aired on Saturday while this week the show was moved to Thursday. This likely should have had a bigger impact on their viewership that it has.
Bryan Alvarez reported the number for this week’s episode of Dynamite on Twitter. The August 27 episode of the show garnered an average of 813,000 viewers. Here is the tweet:

This number is up from last week’s viewership. Last week’s show drew an average of 755,000 viewers, meaning this week’s show gained 58,000 viewers. Next week they will return to their regular day of Wednesday night.
The show itself was another eventful one. As the All Out pay per view approaches, more matches were announced for the show. The biggest one being the AEW World Tag Team Championship match between Hangman Page & Kenny Omega and FTR. Page cost the Young Bucks the chance to wrestle at the pay per view and was later kicked out of The Elite.
Jon Moxley and MJF also signed the contract for their AEW World Championship match on the show. They both cut great promos on each other and Moxley informed them that he would get to face MJF’s lawyer next week and if he doesn’t get the match then MJF loses his title shot.
It was another strong show and only one more Dynamite remains before All Out.
