It seems like WWE is listening to its fanbase, as it has been reported by PWInsider that higher-ups within the company have plans on pushing Naomi “in a strong manner” over the coming weeks and months.
Around a month ago now, #NaomiDeservesBetter began trending on Twitter, with fans of the former SmackDown Women’s Champion unhappy with how the company had been treating her following her return.
To their credit, WWE has been booking Naomi slightly better in recent weeks, allowing her to have some promo time on a recent episode of Miz TV, and even giving her a win over SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.
Although she wasn’t featured on SmackDown last night, it seems like Naomi is going to be getting somewhat of a push over the next couple of weeks and months, according to a recent report from PWInsider:
While she did not appear on tonight’s episode of Smackdown, we are also told that WWE heard the recent social media outrage towards how Naomi has been used loud and clear and there are plans to push her in a stronger manner as well in the weeks ahead as well.
In the same report, PWInsider noted that Roman Reigns is going to be pushed as the top heel on SmackDown with Braun Strowman, with The Fiend now positioned as the brand’s top babyface. You can read more about that by clicking here.
