WWE Hall of Famer and current President of the United States, Donald Trump has revealed via Twitter that he and wife Melania have tested positive for COVID-19.
It had been reported earlier in the night that one of Trump’s closest aides, Hope Hicks, had tested positive, and that the President and First Lady were in quarantine.
Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

Over 200,000 Americans have died as a result of the pandemic, a pandemic which Trump famously described as a hoax earlier this year.
Earlier this week, during a Presidential debate with opponent Joe Biden, Trump said:
“I wear masks when needed. When needed, I wear masks. I don’t have — I don’t wear masks like him. Every time you see [Joe Biden], he’s got a mask. He could be speaking 200 feet away from them and he shows up with the biggest mask I’ve ever seen.”
Trump was famously involved in the Battle of the Billionaire’s storyline alongside Vince McMahon heading into WrestleMania in 2007, where his client Bobby Lashley defeated Umaga, meaning Vince would have his hair shaved off…wrestling.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, and remains a close friend of the McMahon family.
