WWE has taken to its website and social media to announce a championship match for tonight’s episode of Raw on the USA Network.
The match will see Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler defend the Women’s Tag Team Title against Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott. The match was originally scheduled for the September 27 Clash of Champions pay-per-view but was pulled for reasons relating to the recent COVID-19 outbreak within WWE.
On the match, WWE.com writes:
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles will be on the line when Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler defend their titles against The Riott Squad tonight on Raw.
Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan have been eager to prove that they can not only hang with the champions but dethrone them. On the other hand, when they’re not bickering with each other, Jax & Baszler have been out to show that anyone who steps in their path will meet a singular fate: utter destruction.
Who will leave the WWE ThunderDome with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles? Find out tonight on Raw at 8/7 C on USA!
Also announced for tonight is a six-man tag team match with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre & Raw Tag Team Champions the Street Profits against Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode.
As always, WrestleTalk.com will have live coverage of Raw during the show tonight.
