Tonight during IMPACT Wrestling on AXT TV, IMPACT announced they will be launching a tag team tournament to crown the Knockouts Tag Team Champions. 8 teams of women will face off to determine the next champions.
IMPACT announced at Bound for Glory the Knockouts Tag Team Titles would be returning. The tournament will begin in 3 weeks.
IMPACT has developed quite a talented roster of women. When you truly look around wrestling, IMPACT may have the deepest women’s division of any show in wrestling.

We’ve seen pairings already being formed in IMPACT, including:
- Naveah and Havoc
- Tasha Steelz and Kierra Hogan
- Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie
- Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee
Who will fill out the roster for the tournament? Only time will tell, but the division has produced quite a few impressive matches of late.
Also on IMPACT Wrestling tonight, Rhino announced he will be cashing in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet opportunity with his partner Heath Slater to challenge The North for the IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Championship.
Additionally, Rich Swann also successfully defended the IMPACT World Championship against former champion Eric Young. Rich Swann won the title this weekend at Bound for Glory.
