It is currently being reported by Dave Meltzer that there has been another COVID-19 outbreak at the WWE Performance Center. While details are sparse, the report states at least one person has tested positive.
Meltzer noted that the incident occurred on Friday and those who were present have been asked to quarantine. The report does not state who has tested positive, however it says that it was not an NXT television regular.
This has led to the card for NXT’s Halloween Havoc special being changed. Here is the updated card for the show:
- Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal – NXT Women’s Championship Match – Io Shirai (c) vs. Candice LeRae
- Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal: NXT North American Championship Match – Damian Priest (c) vs. Johnny Gargano
- Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Gonzalez
- Haunted House of Terror Match – Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes
- Santos Escobar vs. Jake Atlas
- Pat McAfee appears
Meltzer also mentioned that as of this writing, WWE is still planning to have 100 fans at tomorrow’s tapings. The fans were to be drug tested in Winter Park, Florida and if they pass, they will be allowed at the tapings.
We will keep you updated as this story develops.
