Promoting your shows is important. Duh. However, sometimes in the process of promoting a show, the fans are gifted a little tidbit of intrigue. Such was the case from AEW’s Tony Khan today.
Ahead of tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Khan took to Twitter in what appears to be a standard tweet hyping up the show. The last line, however, offers a bit more to make fans think. In his final line, he says “the balance of power in wrestling will shift tonight”.
Tonight we have a great lineup for #AEWDynamite Live on TNT at 8pm ET/7pm CT! For the rest of 2020, #AEW will keep delivering great matches on Wednesday Nights + there are massive surprises ahead! Please join us on TNT tonight, the balance of power in wrestling will shift tonight
— Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) November 11, 2020
What that means, well, you guess is as good as mine. The line seems to indicate a larger change happening than you would see on most episodes of Dynamite, however, it could also just be Khan hyping his show.
So far tonight’s show appears quite stacked with the fall out from Full Gear taking center stage. Here is what has been announced for the show:
- Tay Conti vs. Red Velvet
- Rey Fenix vs. Penta El Zero M
- Bunkhouse Match – The Natural Nightmares vs. The Butcher and The Blade
- Scorpio Sky vs. Shawn Spears
- Brian Cage vs. Matt Sydal
- MJF and Wardlow’s induction into Inner Circle
- Cody Rhodes Will Speak
- Kenny Omega Will Speak
- The Young Bucks will Appear
