A couple of months ago WWE signed a number of former EVOLVE wrestlers to NXT, and financial details on their contracts have been revealed.
Fightful Select reports that several of the new WWE signees signed deals with $60,000 guarantees, which increases to $80,000 in January.
It was also added that there is a bonus of $500 per TV appearance, which also increases in January.
The report states that the bonuses increase “significantly”, maybe even tripling, when the new year comes around.
People in WWE have reacted well to the fact that the new contracts are short-term as opposed to the company signing talent to multi-year deals and basically hoarding them.
We’ve already seen a few of the former EVOLVE wrestlers make several appearances on NXT and 205 Live, most notably Curt Stallion and August Grey (Anthony Greene)
