On the Buy-In for Full Gear last weekend, we saw Thunder Rosa return to the promotion to confront Serena Deeb, who had just defended her NWA Women’s Championship against Allysin Kay.
While neither Deeb nor Rosa were on Dynamite last week, AEW has announced that the pair will go one-on-one for the NWA Women’s Championship on next week’s show.
Serena Deeb actually took the NWA Women’s Championship off of Thunder Rosa last month, and this is the first time that Rosa has had the chance to recapture the belt she held for 277 days.
The match was announced by AEW on Twitter late last night, with it being revealed that Tony Khan and Billy Corgan worked together to get the title match booked for the show.
This will not be the first time that Deeb and Rosa have wrestled on Dynamite. The pair worked together just before All Out, in a match that was so good that AEW signed Serena Deeb shortly thereafter.
