Since appearing on the main roster alongside AJ Styles, no one has referred to Jordan Omogbehin by name, instead just calling the 7ft 3” former basketball star “The Associate”.
However, in a backstage segment on last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Matt Riddle and AJ Styles revealed that Omogbehin is going to be known as “Olmos” moving forward.
WWE has not added Olmos to the official Superstars page on their website at this time, but make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for more information about Olmos as it emerges.
The segment also saw AJ Styles realise, for the very first time, that Olmos actually speaks English, which might led to some more character development for the big man over the coming weeks and months.
With regards to why Olmos is on the main roster, it has been reported that people within WWE didn’t want to expose his flaws by having him wrestle in NXT before arriving on either Raw or SmackDown.
However, reports have noted that higher-ups haven’t been blown away by his development in the ring and he is thought to be quite slow. However, that shouldn’t be all that surprising considering his size.
