Last night on Monday Night Raw, rivals Elias and Jeff Hardy competed in a Sympathy of Destruction match, which Hardy managed to win after hitting a Swanton Bomb to the outside through a table.
However, fans were left rather worried after Jeff Hardy hit his head on the steel steps after his botched dive to the outside. For those that haven’t seen, the spot happens at the 2:24 mark of the video below.
Thankfully, Jeff Hardy didn’t seem to be knocked out after the spot and managed to pin Elias to pick up the win. It seems like the former WWE Champion had his fall softened slightly by the table, meaning his head just bounced back onto the steps.
This is certainly not the first time that fans have been left worried for one of The Hardy Boys following a scary bump throughout their careers, with fans left concerned for Jeff’s brother Matt after a bad fall at All Out earlier this year.
