During tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, it was announced that one of the brand’s stars will be off TV for several weeks.
Throughout the second match on the show, which was Tommaso Ciampa vs Tyler Rust, commentary confirmed that Cameron Grimes will be out for 4-6 weeks.
The storyline explanation for this was an attack from Timothy Thatcher last week causing an injury.
The legitimate reason for Grimes’ absence and whether he’s actually injured is unknown, but there haven’t yet been any reports that he is.
The Thatcher attack came after Grimes had lost to Tommaso Ciampa, which itself was off the back of losing to Dexter Lumis in a strap match at TakeOver: WarGames.
